Generations

Since 1902, when Rudolf Rafflenbeul laid the basis for the now 100 year old family firm, the company has been led by four generations of his descendants. In the first company articles, of 1922, Rudolf and Minna (nee Lepperhoff) Rafflenbeul were named as company members alongside their four sons, Emil, Karl, Eugen and Erich.

After the founder’s death in 1947, his four sons took over collective leadership of the firm. In subsequent years, Erich and the heirs of Emil Rafflenbeul, ceased participation in the company. In 1973, Karl and Eugen Rafflenbeul handed over responsibility for management for the firm to their successors, Dipl.-Ing. Frank Rafflenbeul-Dormeyer and Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Gerd Rafflenbeul. The latter, with his own retirement in 1994, made room for his son, Dipl.-Ing. Martin Rafflenbeul.
